To start blogging, once you've logged in, you simply press create a new blog. Let's give our blog a fun title

Next, we'll add a few keywords that describe the area visited. This is very useful for other travelers to find our blog.

We map each location of our blog to create a map. This is very useful for other members traveling to these destinations.

Here we'll start off by typing the area name, choose from the results or press SEARCH MAP

We can fine tune the address by moving the marker over to the exact location.
and selecting it.

We are also shorten or personalize our address field. This map will then appear on your published blog.

Now we add our photos and videos.

We'll start by uploading photos from our laptop. You can add up to 6 photos at a time up to 4MB each. We'll just add a couple of photos for this demonstration.

Now, we're going to upload a video that we've already uploaded to youtube.

Simply paste the Youtube URL or EMBED code directly into the pop up window

You can do the same for VIMEO videos

Simply copy and paste the VIMEO embed code directly into the pop up window

You can also upload photos directly from your Picasa Web albums in an instant.

Enter your picasa user name to load all your public listed albums.

Choose the Album

And this loads the whole album in one click.

Next we'll add a photo from the internet.

We start off by obtaining the photo's URL,

And we copy and paste it directly into the pop up window

Here I'm adding add a photo caption along with some keywords that best describe my photos or sights along the way. This is very useful for keyword searching. I'll finish up by crediting the photographer.

You can copy 3 photos at a time from one section of your blog to another with ease.

For windows, hold down the shift key and right or left mouse click.

For the mac, hold down the shift key and mouse click.

To delete photos, simply drag them off your blog either to the right or left

The float button enables you to to swap all the photos around with one click. This looks cool if you have large photos mixed with small ones.

Entice your friends to come vist your local area or places you've traveled to in the text section below or above the photos.

Our free forms allow you to add a section with more text and photos by simply pressing the ADD button. You can also delete a section instantly by pressing the delete button.

If you're going to a few different places in the same day, you can use the multple places feature which allows you to map each place of interest individually.

If you want to write about your whole trip in the same blog you can use the Multipoint feature which allows you to map and date each place of interest individually.

For each point of interest or route, you simply add a section. And map each section

Mapping each blog or place of interest no matter no matter how minor will be of great benefit and help to your fellow traveler.

Here I can click on the first photo to enlarge and then hit the arrow button to see the rest of the photos and videos.

Any photo captions and photographer credits will appear in the green border below the photo.

I can also play my videos or move on to the next photo.

I can have more than one photo pop up by simply pressing each photo instead of the slide show. This means I can also view more than one video at a time.

And I can rearrange my pop up windows around my screen.
